Mr Thomas de Man joined Heineken in 1971. Having served in various Senior Management positions, he was promoted Director (Corporate Production, Policy & Control) Heineken International B.V. in 1991.

In February 2003, he joined the Board having been appointed Managing Director of Heineken Operating Companies in Sub-Saharan Africa. He is now the Regional President for Africa and the Middle East.
