Nigerians Win Over N40 million In The Just Concluded Chop Life Promo

To cushion the effect of the novel Coronavirus on businesses, Life Lager has injected over N40 million into no fewer than 200 businesses in the country in its “Chop Life” Experience Promo.

The Chop Life Experience is breathing new life on businesses adversely affected by the pandemic in several host communities in the southeast and other states in Nigeria. The move is imperative to strengthen MSMEs in these states, boost revenue streams and recoup investments.

To this end, N200,000 was given to over 200 traders, artisans and other small business owners in the Life Lager Chop Life experience to enhance inclusive growth across the regional markets.

The COVID-19 pandemic has crippled several businesses and the economy is lying prostrate with layoffs and massive downsizing of workforces. This is causing strains and inflationary gaps on the economic lifeline of households and businesses in the country who are grappling to survive.

Due to the macroeconomic shocks taking a toll on the Nigerian economy, Life Lager is ensuring that businesses are brought back to life through the “Chop Life Experience”.

One of the beneficiaries who spoke at the event in Owerri had this to say: ‘’I will use the money I have received today to buy more goods and make sure people benefit from my business. Chop life promo is really helping a lot of people build their businesses in this period and we hope for more of these types of initiatives”.

Speaking at one of the Chop Life promo events, the Brand Manager, Life Lager, Chidi Egwu said: ‘’As a brand, Life Continental Lager believes in the progress of consumers, and the Chop Life Experience is our way of empowering our consumers. Through our various programs, we hope to add value and support to many more small scale businesses across Nigeria, knowing that access to finance is an essential condition for successful entrepreneurial development’’.

The Chop Life Experience which started on September 27, 2020, has run through Lagos, and several other states like Imo, Abia, Enugu, Rivers, Akwa-Ibom, Benue and Anambra.

Life Lager, through its Progress Booster initiative also recently supported traders with about N3 million at the just concluded New Yam Festival which was held in Lagos.

Life Lager Beer was first brewed in Onitsha, Anambra State in 1981 and has since grown from a regional beer brand to becoming one of the leading lager brands in the country that is empowering businesses.
