Heineken brings Formula 1 thrill to Lagos

Heineken brought the excitement of the Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix to Lagos on August 31, 2025, with an exclusive viewing experience at Herel Play, Ruxton Road, Ikoyi, Lagos. The event was a thrilling experience for fans, with cold bottles clinking, conversations roaring, and the energy electric.

In a statement on Wednesday, the firm said the Dutch Grand Prix was an action-packed event, with Oscar Piastri securing his seventh win of the season. The energy inside Herel Play mirrored every twist and turn, with gasps at Lando Norris’ retirement, applause at Piastri’s control, and loud cheers for Isack Hadjar’s unexpected breakthrough.

The event was made more special with the presence of notable guests, including former BBN stars, Saga and Sheggz, who turned heads as they joined in the fun and showed fans the proper way to pour a glass of Heineken.

Popular hypeman Big Bimi also kept spirits in overdrive with his trademark hype.

“The event didn’t end with the race, as DJ Tohbahd turned the venue into a dance floor for an afterparty,” the statement added. “The bottles stayed frosty, and the energy shifted seamlessly from race tactics to shouted lyrics and raised toasts to a Sunday well spent.”
